Single Remote Lever for Convenience
The K-10430 Forté Faucet's single lever makes it easy to operate: simply flip up the lever to turn on the water and move the lever left to right to find the desired temperature. Once you find the right temperature, leave the lever in place and turn the faucet on and off as needed. A high-temperature control lets you preset a maximum setting to eliminate scalding.

The K-10430 Forté Faucet features an ADA-compliant, remote lever handle and a matching side spray for hard-to-reach areas. The spout reach is 9-1/16 inches, and the faucet's 9-1/16 inch height provides superior clearance beneath the spout. The K-10430 Forté has a maximum flow rate of 2.2 gallons (8.3 liters) per minute with a low-flow aerator option available.

I got this facet installed a few weeks ago when I was replacing the countertop and kitchen sink. I always wanted something that sits somewhat high so that I can fill up pitchers and big pots without having to maneuver the facet too much. This facet is simply elegant, functional and very reasonably priced, especially with the Amazon's discount. The sprayer works fine too and the water pressure is satisfactory. I highly recommend it.

This set looks very handsome indeed in our new kitchen. The action is extremely smooth and the size is just right to match our deep sinks.
Two negatives - a minor one first - there isn't a dishwasher relief to match. The bigger one, still not a really major thing, is that the sprayer hose is not weighted, and no weight kit is offered. As a result, using the sprayer and getting it back in place is much more a nuisance than this fine set deserves. The jumble of hoses and pipes under the sink tends to keep the sprayer hose from retracting as easily as it could if it were weighted. The kitchen installers asked the question - "Where's the weights?" when they opened the box.

The faucet is beautiful. We love that it is high and can easily fill stock pots. Sprayer seems to be perpetually only partially in place. I'm forever putting it back. The color is beautiful, but a bit hard to clean with our hard water. An occassional wipe with vinegar seems to return the patina.
We received a box that appeared to have already been opened. So we requested a replacement. The second box also seemed to have been opened, so we went ahead and called our plumber to install it. It was a huge problem to discover that BOTH boxes were MISSING THE ADAPTOR (which is included in the parts list). The plumber charged us an extra $70 to go get a compatible piece so he could finish the install. Amazon was great to work with and reinbursed us for this cost. We also contacted Kohler through customer service. They never responded back. All is well in the end, but make sure to check for that adaptor piece before you begin installation.
