I was looking for a faucet for a secondary sink, and stumbled across this model by Kohler. I have another one of their pull-out faucets, and have been very pleased with it. This model is even better - lots of little touches that makes it a pleasure to use.
The faucet rotates in a wide arc so you can easily swivel it to fill a pot. If, by chance, the pot it too tall, you can use the pull-down nozzle. Like other Kohler faucets, it has a nylon mesh coating so it's very easy to pull out, quiet, and retracts easily and completely. Love that it has a pause button so you can stop the water flow at the pullout head when the pot is filled.
Perhaps the best feature is the ease of installation. It took literally just minutes to install it. It uses a novel mounting plate that you just have to hand tighten and then secure with three screws. No more busting your knuckles trying to get a wrench under the sink to tighten the faucet!
I installed it in a one-hole sink, but it comes with a plate so you can use it on a 3 hole sink as well. I got it in the VS finish (stainless) which looks great, and is very easy to keep clean.
There is another model that looks the same (K-596) but is one inch taller and extends one inch further. The more compact size of the K-597 works great in a smaller sink (mine is 18 by 18), and could work well in a larger one too - compare both models and see which would be a better fit. For me, I'd prefer the more compact size even on a full-sized sink.

This faucet is the best ever! I've had it for about six weeks and couldn't be happier. The Vibrant Stainless Steel finish matches my satin-finished stainless steel sink perfectly, and the faucet is a joy to use... smooth swivel, and three buttons on pull-down head make it very easy to use one-handed. Kohler K-597-VS Simplice Pull-Down Secondary Faucet, Vibrant Stainless The pull-down faucet head is attached to the hose with a ball-bearing-type connection that makes it very wrist-friendly to use also. I hear positive comments on this faucet from anyone visiting who uses it. The larger Simplice faucet is an inch higher and extends an inch further into the sink, but this 'secondary' faucet fits the scale of my kitchen well.

This faucet is the perfect size for my kitchen where every inch of real estate is worth a premium. Look closely at the dimensions--it's still good sized. I had mine installed without the base plate and since I'm left-handed, my plumber suggested we turn the handle to face straight forward (rather than on the right side as shown in the pictures). I do wish the sprayer would be a tad easier to pull down and return to position. Pretty sure I'll adjust to that over time while I enjoy this gorgeous and highly functional faucet.
