Also, with its temperature memory handle, the Evoke lets you leave the lever at the preferred setting and simply turn on the faucet to quickly reach the desired temperature.
Versatile Sprayhead for Multiple Uses
The Evoke faucet features ProMotion technology for quiet and smooth operation, a MasterClean sprayface that resists mineral buildup and is easy to clean, and a three-function sprayhead to fit your needs. The ProMotion technology includes a ball-joint swivel sprayhead for easy-to-use functionality, as well as a braided-nylon hose that moves smoothly and quietly without kinking.
The compact, three-function sprayhead provides a normal spray or an aerated flow, while a convenient pause function allows you to stop the water flow with the touch of a button.
Premium Materials for Increased Durability
Constructed with durable materials and coated with a corrosion- and tarnish-resistant finish, the Evoke faucet also contains ceramic disk valves that perform at up to two times the industry longevity standard. Installation is quick and simple with the convenient Kohler installation ring and flexible connections.
Dimensions and Warranty
The Evoke faucet features an ADA-compliant lever handle and 360-degree spout rotation for ease of use. The swing spout reach is 9 inches, and the faucet height is 9-15/16 inches. The Evoke faucet has a maximum flow rate of 2.2 gallons (8.3 liters) per minute with a low-flow aerator option available.

First, I have previously reviewed an excellent Grohe kitchen faucet and would still recommend this faucet highly. The reason for replacing it with this equally excellent Kohler relates to how the unit fits given a change that we have made while remodeling the kitchen. In doing the remodel we are replacing an existing ceramic tile backsplash with granite. Critically, the granite backsplash is deeper and therefore intrudes on the top of the granite countertop further than the old tile backsplash did.
The operating lever on the Grohe is longer and positioned in the center of the faucet, so when you pushd the lever back to get hot water, it would touch the tile at the full hot setting. With the granite being deeper, this lever would not be able to go to full hot because the granite would block the lever! Not a good thing!
The Kohler eliminates this problem in two ways: First, the lever is shorter and therefore pushing it towards the rear does not extend the lever as far back and second, the valve and handle are towards the front of the faucet rather than centered with it. This means that the lever barely exceeds the rear of the faucet by 1/2" at full hot where the Grohe requires almost 3 1/2" of clearance for the handle to reach full hot position!
Grohe makes an excellent faucet and this is in no way a criticism of their mechanical, cosmetic or functional quality. But if you have any restrictions on space, especially behind the faucet where the lever throw can be critical, this Kohler will deliver the style and quality while fitting in much tighter spots!
Oh, and the design is really nicely functional, too. Put a pasta pot under this without problem - both the extended height and reach make filling such oversized pots and pans a snap!

Color Name:Polished Chrome
I recently purchased a home with this fixture. Overall the fixture functions OK, but the pull out sprayer feels very cheap, spray pattern is horrible, difficult to make small temp and pressure adjustments (but that could get better with time/more use?). The builder uses all Kohler stuff and all the other faucets in the house seem to be much higher quality with excellent function. I like the look of this fixture a lot but I'm shopping for something new with a better feel to the pullout sprayer.

Long on looks, but be aware that the Kohler Evoke in the much touted Kohler lifetime finish of polished chrome has led to water spots that cannot be removed. We have to wipe down the fixture everyday to minimize further indelible water staining and etching which, as far as we are concerned, is a huge product defect in a high end faucet. During the remodel of my mother's residence, we also installed Kohler shower bath fixtures (fixed head, handheld, bath spout, and 3-way diverter) in polished chrome and experienced identical problems as the Kohler Evoke kitchen faucet, with permanent water spotting within a week. Although we then began our practice of wiping down fixtures immediately after use, it was too late. No homeowner should have to hassle with wiping down water from fixtures when it's the essence of plumbing to get wet. We have all-copper plumbing and live in Honolulu, Hawaii, known for its pristine water, but from the looks of our brand new Kohler fixtures, you might wrongfully conclude that Hawaii has hard water that leaves behind lots of mineral deposits. We will never buy Kohler products again. When we lived in Seattle, we installed Grohe everywhere in polished chrome and were delighted with it in every respect. Needless to say, our fixtures did not etch, spot, or stain due to Grohe's superior finishes. If you must buy Kohler, then choose a more expensive finish than polished chrome. And be forewarned.

Looks great - takes getting used to
This faucet is a bit high above the sink, so you get a lot of splashing water outside of the sink if you hold the dishes you're rinsing up too close to the nozzle. Read more

Well built and stylish.
Very nice faucet. Kohler still makes great products. Would give it 5 stars but the switch from stream to spray is a little goofy. It works but it could be more smooth.
