Good review of general canine structure.,
By A Customer
This review is from: K-9: Structure and Terminology (Hardcover)
I found this book to give me a better understanding of the movement of a dog in the show ring. It describes quite well the parts of the skeleton and how they relate to this movement. The full impact of the information is probably best used in a class where examples can be shown. Even with this shortcoming I found I increased my understanding and knowlege of conformation show movement.

I purchased this book from the author while attending one of his Canine Structure & Movement seminars during the spring of 2006. This particular seminar was focused on sighthounds, and being a newbie to the world of sighthounds I found both this book and the seminar immensely informative! I highly recommend people interested in dog sports to purchase this book; and it will also give you a head start prior to attending one the author's seminars!

This review is from: K-9 Structure & Terminology (Paperback)
This is a must have for anyone seriously concerned about breeding. Forget that, it's a must have for anyone that is breeding dogs. It's an eye-opener with an immense amount of easy to understand information. You'll learn a lot from this book. Follow it up with Tricks of the Trade by Pat Hastings and you're on your way to being a great breeder.
