disappointed,
This review is from: K.AID FOOD PROCESSOR 12cup DIE CASTMETAL
I bought this to replace my old cuisinart. I decided to buy it because of its high ratings. I am an avid cook and use my food processor often. This product disappointed me because: 1. due to the multiple feed tubes, harder to clean, 2. when making graham cracker crumbs, the crumbs got between the lid and the bowl so that when I was finished and removed the lid, graham crackers spilled all over the counter, 3. The attachments to make the smaller bowl useable were not included with the product (making it unuseable until I buy the attachment).
For the price and reputation (I have a kitchenaid stand mixer and love it), I expected more and was disappointed.

Not sure what problem the previous reviewer had with the small bowl. I've used the small bowl many times and didn't buy anything extra.
This product has tons of features yet compared to the new Cuisinart with it's dough program, sealed lid and blades that don't fall out when you pour, I find this highly attractive food processor beginning to show its age. It's not that hard to clean by hand but if you put it in the dish washer it seems water gets in all the crevices and it takes a while to dry out. So washing by hand is what I do and this limits its use for me. Also this product only comes with one size shredder and it shreds well but I also get a lot of cheese 'dust' caked up all around the edge which makes me think the blade design could be better. If you're looking for a smaller grate then you'll have to buy an extra blade. Still, it's powerful and works well and with the three bowls is pretty handy.
