This is a clever idea but the pyramids do leave small dimple marks depending of material. My first use was with a piece of pine. Used 4 pyramids and got 4 dimples. Now I need to fill the dimples, sand and restain.

It would be best if the manufacturer clearly warned users and gave some ideas on how to avoid the marks.

bought them, used them, they work as expected. they do leave a mark despite the claims they don't.

Good product - does exactly what one would think it does. Used with a wipe on poly finish - no visible marks. Stackable for storage.

These little things are amazing! LOVE THEM! Make staining and or painting so much easier. Anyone who does crafts, woodworking, etc., these are a must have! They are so sturdy, painted a heavy door and used these and they worked great!

I have used these successfully on pine, oak and pecan projects to apply both paint, stain and oil finishes. Imagine my disgust to turn over the cherry table top I had worked so hard to flatten and prepare and fine these little beasts had left dimples in it. The top is 16x42 and 3/4 thick - not a huge weight - and there were at least 6 pyramids under it. I ordered some Rockler Bench Cookies and so far I like them better.

Works exactly as advertised. You can stain your project all at the same time.

My kid likes to play with them while I play around in the workshop.

This has really speeded up my projects, not having to wait for one side to dry completely and not having my pieces stick to my protective table coverings. Wish I had found them years ago.

These are a great idea and time saver for anyone who has to paint, stain or do finishing work. This is the only way to get both sides done without a big mess. What a time saver!!

Buy a lot. Like clamps you will find that you can never have enough of this item if you do a lot of painting of doors, cabinets, etc.. A simple and highly effective means of reducing effort and time when painting.

I purchased this product in multiples of 10. (30 total)
Used them for painting kitchen cabinet doors.
Door hardware was removed from doors when painted.
Worked out really great.
Allows the door sides to be painted without the paint sticking to the
under laying surface. Using either a brush or sprayer.
My first purchase was 3 packs of 10, I'm going back for another pack of 36.
For future use.
