I have been using k&n stuff for over 20 years. The nut on these filters can be a real time saver on some of the import cars like our infiniti g20. as far as filtration thier not quite up to hasting filters

Been buying these for years. I match them up with Mobil 1 synthetic and credit them with keeping my Infiniti G35's engine in top shape!

Love the spot welded nut on then. Makes taking them on and off very easy with a 25 mm (or 1") socket on a 1/2" drive ratchet. No meesing around with silly oil filter wrenches.

These things cost about twice what OEM filters cost and in reality I have no idea if they really keep the oil cleaner, but it makes me feel better!

This model of K&N works for VQ35DE/ REV UP/ HR and VQ37HR engines as well as 1995-03 Nissan S14 and S15 type SR20DET engines (as well as a quite a few other applications). I use these for my G35 and they filter well and are a breeze to take off. While they are 3-4$ more expensive than the nissan branded filters, the nut is the reason i buy them so they are extremely easy to remove. Also it's gotten good reviews on various oil filter comparison tests.

I'm glad amazon started selling auto parts. Cheaper than local, no ship/no tax. As for this particular filters performance, well, I haven't sampled the oil and screened it analytically for decomposition. If something bogus happens in the next year I'll definitely call K&N *and* update this review.

K&N is well known for quality and it is great to be able to buy these on Amazon. I have a Mazda Protege and this is very easy to install/change given the wrench fitting on the end. No more messing around with oil filter wrenches or caps that get stuck on the filter. Quick and easy and quality too.

I have used K&N air and oil filters in all of my vehicles for many years. I do oil peformance and filtration tests through Blackstone-labs and the filters have always worked well and the "nut" on the bottom of the oil filter is very handy.

Nice oil filter, fit well and easy to install. I like the bolt head, makes for easier removal. Seemed high quality, but thats normal with K&N.

This by far has to be one of the best oil filters I've used. Material used in the oil filter looks and feels high quality.

i dont notice any horsepower gain lol. but it does a good job filtering. with this price? i'd definitely buy it well thats why i bought it

Great item. I have been using this for a many years on my car and have had no issues. I recomend it to all of my friends and family. Could not ask for anything better.
