5.0 out of 5 stars Outstanding Science Fiction Publication, April 11, 2010
This review is from: K-PAX IV: A New Visitor From The Constellation Lyra (Paperback)
K-PAX IV is a wonderful publication. It is the 4th book of the K-PAX series. It is a science fiction literature of ideas. Stories that involve discovery and application of new scientific principles, such as faster-than-light travel. Accurately depicting worlds that more advanced technology make anything possible. Many accurate predictions of the future. The series is based on social sciences such as psychology, economics, political science, sociology. The first three publications are superbly written. K-PAX IV excels above all making you want the series go on forever. Absolutely a real page turner. You can read K-PAX IV without reading the first three books. But it is highly recommended that you read all the books in the series. Don't miss his earlier works.
One of today's most fascinating fictional books.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not his best work, June 9, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: K-PAX IV: A New Visitor From The Constellation Lyra (Paperback)
I love the original K-PAX trilogy. The first three books were interesting, informative, and kept you guessing. This book was simply a propaganda piece with no plot. Brewer does not bring back his main character, and spends the entire book harping about environmentalism. This book came across as preachy and boring. It isn't worth the read. Buy the first three books, they're wonderful, but that's were the series should have ended.
