light and airy!, November 10, 2011
I've been improving my runs, increasing distance and adding more and more races to my running routine. This made me go away from stability shoes and into the neutral, lighter and faster shoes category. These, besides from looking very cool, also feel very cool - literally and metaphorically. They breath very well, are very light, but cushion-y and spring-y at the same time. I do not wear socks with them, and read somewhere that people were recommending getting these half a size smaller, than your regular running shoes. Glad I did! I wear 8.5 heels, 9.5 running shoes and got these in 9. They fit just perfectly. There is still room for my feet to breath and swell. I would not take these on a trail, but they would be great for a race on a paved road.
