K. Willis is a multitalented, singer/songwriter/musician. She showcases all of her talents on this debut album without overkill. She takes you back to when songs were powerful and had meaning. I have several favorites on this album: "Hear It Straight from You", "Life-Time Notice", "Happy", and "What Can I Do". I've also had the opportunity to see this woman and her band perform live! It was a truly awesome experience. She is a true vocal stylist who knows how to portray the character of each song in a profound way.
