I really like this pair of roller blades for the comfort of the boot, the color, and of course, the function. My only complaint it that the brake is not the best I've ever had. It takes a lot of force to slow down, let alone stop completely, and for a person skating in an area that has fairly steep hills, it is not a good deal for me if I gain too much speed and fly through an intersection.

This skate is a good beginner skate, and is great if you're going to be skating in a park or something with a level sidewalk, but for people people who plan to use it in an area with hills, it isn't the best choice.

I love these skates! My first time using them was a little painful. They were a bit tight, but all I had to do is loosen the strings up a little and they felt so much better my next time around. They work great and provide a pretty nice, smooth ride. Not to mention they look good! Much better then my cheap Target pair. Overall I feel these are a great pair of skates and I highly recommend them.

The K2 Athena inline skates have done wonders for me. I hadn't been on skates in quite a number of years, so I was looking for somewhat of a beginner skate with edge, if you will. The look of the skates is stylish and attractive, but what really sold me on K2 was how comfortable they were. The boot is incredibly comfortable and made my skating experience a blast. I would recommend these skates to beginners and fitness oriented skaters alike. They are a great product and deserve a chance. Fantastic skates, hands down.

Bought this for my wife. She likes them, jusst hasnt had a chance to really ride. Of course K2 quality is great!!

the inline skates were not in line and I had to return them. Of course I got a credit and re-ordered another pair from another source for my grand daughter, but I hope these will be removed from Amazon.
