I actually bought this book for a beginning handler working with detection dogs. Good format, nicely laid out with forward progression problems and situations. Draws some good examples from real life situations and experiences. I like the last chapter on the types of compounds, storage, and handling required. I would recommend it to anyone getting into detection work no matter if you are working drugs, explosives, or cadaver.

This is a great book for explosive scent detection training. The author goes into detail about selecting a dog, training the dog and training scenarios, vehicles, aircraft and buildings etc.
