First off, this attaches to the plastic holster included with the knife and is not a separate holster. It will likely be difficult to remove the original and attach this one unless you kept the tiny star head wrench that came with the knife. Luckily I still had mine and switched the clips in a few minutes.
I bought this to replace the original because it was ruining my belt by sliding on and off it every day. This clips on easily but can be difficult to remove. That's a good thing if you don't want to lose your knife though! The main clip has a smaller 'reverse' clip inside it which is what keeps it from easily sliding off. The clip appears to made of approx. 1mm thick steel and is quite strong. It has not bent or slipped off even after I clumsily caught it on doorknobs and other protrusions several times. I think it's a great value and an essential accessory for the TDI knife.

I got this clip for my Ka-Bar Becker Necker sheath. It is very secure. The retainer tab on the clip does not allow the clip to back off your belt accidentally. It keeps the sheath close to my body so I can't snag it on stuff and holds the sheath steady when I resheath my knife. The spring steel of the clip holds its shape well. My only complaint is that it came with very small Torx head screws which require a very small Torx head wrench that is not in standard Torx wrench selections. They need to use more common flat head or hex head hardware or provide a appropriate Torx head wrench with the clip. Be careful not to over tighten the screws because the aluminum grommets will strip out easily. A drop of Loktite on each screw would be a good idea.

I ended up not needing this clip, as the TDI knife I ordered came with it already attached (not in the description for the product), but I can still say this is a great clip. As another reviewer stated, this clip is made of strudy metal and has not bent at all after months of tough use. As noted, it holds very securely to your belt, a very good thing, but is still easy to remove once you get the "trick" for it down. I wish more knife makers put this much attention into their products, I have never been disappointed in a Ka-Bar product.

This product works great with the Ka-Bar Neck Knife's outstanding sheath. It's rugged and reliable. If you prefer to wear your small neck knife on your belt, then this is what you want to buy.

Clip works great but be sure not to over tighten. Also you will need the little wrench that comes with your knife if you dont have it it may be difficult to find something to tighten screws down.

Well worth the price (although it is kind of expensive). The clip hooks under your belt, so it can't really come off accidently. Not light, but solid. Fits the sheath perfectly. Holding the female stud when screwing it together can be a little tricky.

if you order the knife, the sheath and clip already come with it. No need for this clip at all!

I bought this for a BK14 My first impressions where not good the clip only allows for vertical carry not horizontal might not seem important but if you want to carry on a shoulder strap this clip wont work.It seems kinda flimsy I expected more from ka-bar. It does fit snugly on the sheath but you will need to purchase a T6 Torx driver.Over all the clip is ok but I think you could do the same thing with para cord and have more carry options check out youtube.

Pros:The clip does fit the sheath nicely.
Hardware lines up perfectly.

Cons:This does not come with the T6 Torx driver to install the hardware.Don't use an Allan wrench It will strip the screw head.
As stated in other reviews the metal the clip is made from is soft and bends easily.
Only allows for vertical carry not horizontal

The aluminum mounting hardware that came with the clip stripped when i tried to install it, so I had to purchase other replacements, which are not black. Also, the steel appears to be soft so the clip doesn't hold its shape, having bent out somewhat from the way it originally came.

I bought this clip the same time I got the BK11. I've had it about(3)three months now. I went to put it on and noticed that the rounded part of the belt clip had snapped in half. I really expected more out of something stamped "Ka-Bar". I've been told that Ka-bar will fix it for free, but I really don't have the time to pack it up, send it out and wait for who knows how long for it to come back. Thats if it ever does make it back. We all know how the wonderful men and women at the great United States Postal Service are about getting us our mail, whatever it may be. It could just be my bad luck, but you can also use 550 cord and it won't cost half as much. Even with that said, it truly is hard to beat a true U.S.A made Ka-Bar.
