If you want a knife that is good enough to display or tough enough to survive combat situations this KA-Bar will be a good choice. I bought this knife for my stepson, who served in iraq.This knife arrived in flawless condition. It is brutally beautiful with a perfect leather handle,sharp blade,and very nice sheath. BUY IT.

My Father Went To Iraq and Brought his own Ka-Bar with him, he had his Ka-Bar for almost 18 years now and while using it to pry open a door in the field he broke his knife (at the tip), he was pretty upset about it, so for Christmas this year I bought him this Ka-Bar knife with Operation Iraqi Freedom on it since thats where he lost his i thought it would be a nice show piece if he wanted to do that or once again a great work knife. My Family swears by Ka-Bar infact when one turns of age to leave home we get one original leather handled Ka-Bar Knife as our gift for our right of passage has been tradition for generations i still have mine 4 years old now
