These songs were produced by the same people who make the Supercore Starter sets. In fact some of the same songs on this Karaoke Kurrents set can be found on the 2008 Supercore set. I host karaoke events part time and the Supercore and Karaoke Kurrents songs are chosen often by young people and in general are high in quality. For a few years Supercore and now Karaoke Kurrents have been including Urban songs with explicit lyrics.
While this may be popular with the bar crowd, I don't host bar gigs. Some of my gigs children and teens are present. I really wish Supercore and Karaoke Kurrents would produce more clean radio version hip hop and urban music in thier karaoke production. I can't use any of these songs with foul language and have to exclude them from my books. Out of the 100 songs there were 11 with explicit filthy language I had to exclude.
