***Had to update my review. I've had this bag for about a week and sadly, I discovered that the faux leather straps are already starting to crack and tear where they're wrapped around the brass rings and where they're stitched. Once they tear, it can't be fixed, so I'm returning this bag. Very big bag that looks great, but not constructed with materials that can carry a big bag load. If I could change my review rating, I'd give it 2 or 3 stars.

Just received my foldover tote in OAK. I'm not a "designer" bag kind of girl - usually I buy what's on sale or clearance, but I needed a good purse that would hold all my stuff and not look like a grocery bag on my shoulder. Found Kathy Van Zeeland on Amazon and fell in love with her style.
This purse is beautiful. The metal detail is really nice. There's a zipper compartment inside that holds all my makeup and little junk. Plus there are slots for cell phone, sun glasses, etc. Two pockets and a zipper compartment on the outside are great. I like the long strap. This bag is very well constructed with higher quality materials. The price on Amazon can't be beat - affordable enough to buy a couple more in different styles/colors.

Color is nice, especially for fall. The different colored embellishments are OK, but I wonder how long they would stay on with daily use. Bag is much heavier than I expected, and when trying to use the shoulder strap, the bag's balance is way off. Top opening is way too small compared to the rest of the width of the bag. That has to stop. Can hardly get stuff into or out of the bag, and that's an inconvenience. Would I order it again? No.
