Take a look at the album cover. Here you have a guy in a Kangol holding a beat up acoustic guitar and hoisting a boombox over his head. That pretty much sums up this album. Imagine Beck, the driving blues of Hillstomp, and some Run DMC and you'll get some idea of his unique and refreshing sound. Better yet, goto Booker's Myspace page and listen to some song samples. If you're like me, you'll buy the CD on the spot and you'll discover one of the most refreshing, original albums of 2006 and beyond.
