When we got the item the box wasn't damaged. The screen has scratches on it and the the top of the frame is off so the LEDs are shining through the top. The picture is very unimpressive. 1080p .....definitely not. I tried to call tiger direct and I was hung up on after waiting on the phone for 20min and transferred. Someone better contact me soon or I'm filing a claim!

This television is reasonably priced. The picture is clear and sharp. The problem is Silo customer service. I damaged the coax connection and they stated there was nothing they could do. I connected through the HDMI cable and the picture was fine. For whatever reason they will not provide a remote control code to use a DIRECTTV control. You must use their control plus the direct control. The problem with this TV is easily fixed. Silo needs to become responsive more quickly to customer complaints. If you can put up with the terrible customer service you get a good TV for a reasonable price.

got this TV last week--came very quickly, via UPS--and so-far, so good! It didn't appear to be packed in a very sturdy box, but it was in great shape, so no problem there. Easy hook-up, when I turned it on, was wowed by bright, brilliant picture. Just about overwhelming, so bright & clear.
After awhile, I decided it was just "too bright," so adjusted the color & contrast--which was easy to do. I tuned into a high def golf tournament, and compared this TV to our 46" Sony, and tried to adjust this KC to look like the same color & contrast as the Sony. Got it looking very natural now. I prefer a TV that's not knock-you-down, "Bam! in your face" color, but that option is there, if you want it. Has a number of pre-set modes, including power-saving, soft, dynamic, standard, and user-defined. As I say, it was easy to adjust to my liking.
Sound is ok, I'm not picky about sound from a TV, but it's got "surround sound" built-in, if you want that, as well as various modes, for sports, movies, music, or user-defined options.
Was replacing a TV that got zapped in a lightning storm a couple weeks ago, and was going to get another big name-brand TV. But, I decided to try an off-brand TV, with an off-brand-price. So far, my bet has paid off!

Had this tv for a little over a year now. Looks even better than our 37" Vizio that cost twice as much. No issues to date and it looks stunning. Even the tvs speakers are decent considering the price. Would buy another one in a heartbeat.
