This review is from: JOHN F. KENNEDY'S PT-109 1/32 SCALE, MOTORIZED MODEL KIT. (Toy)
Ok...I have built 3 of these in the past 10 yrs ...and made the into R/C boats..love the way they move on the water... I use a 550 Motor w/ 1800 battier to run it with. Spc F & R / twin rudders.. best to get the rudder posts up as high as the water line or higher.. if water gets inside.. this will be where it happens.. put the Rec' and Spc up front..motor as low as you can in the middle of the boat, place the battier in the middle behind the shaf...toward the rudders.. place one Servo on right side toward the rear.. to run your twin rudders... try to keep it as short as you can.. Plus when putting the ant'.. through the deck.. I found the best place was just next to the brige so it stays when the cover is taken off. you can also place red lights inside the cabin so it will look good at night running or on the shelf ..I use 1 -9v to run all my lighting. Hope this will help .. All I can say it looks good on water puts out a small butter fly wave from off the bow..run time usually about 15 mins..
