I ordered my Key in September and it was broken into pieces by April. Just the simple act of turning the key in the ignition wears it down. The plastic casing started to crack each time I turned on my car until finally it just broke apart and I was left with just the metal key sticking 1/2" out of my ignition. Plastic is not enough to hold the metal key in place with the amount of pressure you're using to turn the key several times a week. What really chaps my butt is that I had to spend $150 for a dealership to program the key after paying the $70 to purchase this key first.

I tried contacting the seller to let them know this product is shoddy, as evidenced by 2 reviews now, but received no response.

After reading some of the reviews on this item, I was concerned about ordering this key, thinking that it maybe inferior in some way to my original factory provided Key. Ordering it, having it on hand and programming it via my local dealer proved my concerns wrong! That is the GOOD news! This key is exactly like the key provided to me when I bought my car. Once programmed by the dealer, it works flawlessly. It only cost $50.00 for programming. You can price it out yourself but what I found is that by purchasing this key via Amazon as opposed to purchasing it through my dealer, I saved about A HUNDRED DOLLARS. That is $100.00 SAVINGS. It looks and preforms just like a factory provided key. I would not hesitate to purchase another one and recommend that you purchase it as well, if you would like the BEST value for your purchase. Enjoy!

Do not buy. Within 2 weeks my key was falling apart. Drove the wife and 4 month old kid to the mall that was 30 miles away from home for he birthday. When we came out the key wouldnt start the car. Called a tow truck that charged me $200 to tow it to the toyota dealership. The next day we took the spare key up there and the car started fine but the key i bought from this place still didnt work. The sensor got loose somehow and it will still unlock the doors but wont start the car. Back fell off, buttons fell out. I got my refund but i did want the program fee also. Toyotas Camry key costs $180 then they charge you $85 to program it. so i could have saved myself the hassle and just got a quality key the first time for less money if you add in the tow.

Dealership programed the key and you can not be any further than 1 foot from the car for it to work. very weak transmitter.
