This case is fantastic! It really does fit like a glove! It snaps on and stays on. Previous reviews said that the top doesn't stay on, and I had a problem with it initially, but after realizing that it wasn't snapped on properly. The top part of the case needs to be snapped on from the bottom first and then snapped on the top in order to secure it properly. This case was definitely worth buying.

The KHOMO clear cover is a winner. It fits the 2011 11 inch MBA almost perfectly and snaps into place after minimal maneuvering. The instructions - a series of images make little sense, but as suggested by a previous reviewer, put the rear end of the case on the top first, pull and smooth forward applying slight pressure to the top center and the case will snap into place snugly. The bottom is even easier. The case is as advertised - crystal clear with the exception of two small areas of visible mould imperfections that appear as stress striations on my sample. These are insignificant except perhaps for the most neurotic. It does not interfere with any of the ports and appears to not inhibit ventilation of the computer. It will protect against scratches and scuffs but how protective it will be if the MBA is dropped remains to be seen. I hope I don't find out. The cover adds virtually no bulk, is mostly invisible and may actually improve the already clean and sculpted appearance with what is essentially a resilient clear coat. All in all it is not perfect but it almost is and for the price this is an incredible steal.

UPDATE: As one other reviewer stated the cover is very difficult to remove. I have a top of the line i7 and it tends to run the fan more than I would have expected. I wanted to run without the shell to see if it made a difference. I spent a good 30 minutes and concluded the only way to remove the case without damaging the Air was to essentially destroy the case carefully using an xacto or similar to weaken the clips to the point where they can be snapped off. I could not find a method to remove the shell non-destructively. So I left it on for now as it does its job and the fan is neither constant or troubling... yet.

This is probably the cheapest case online but unfortunately there's a reason for it. The bottom half works great. In fact, I think my fan has been quieter with it on. Clear is probably the best looking case out there because it makes the laptop look more expensive. Now the downside, the top does not stay on at all. I don't even understand how anyone expected it to. It is just a sheet of plastic with 1 tiny hinge at the top that clearly does not stay on for any reason. Also, if you lean the screen of the laptop to a certain degree, the hinge will give out due to the added extra weight of the top part of the case. What I'm doing, is keeping the bottom on cause it actually stays on and only putting on the top when I plan on taking my laptop to a Starbucks or something so it doesn't get scratched in my bag. If you're at home a lot, sure get this one. But if you're always taking your laptop places, spend an extra $10 and get one that'll actually do its job.
