Item is exactly what it says it is: a long cable. Should be the standard from Sammy--the short thing that comes standard with the tablet is virtually useless when you need to be charging while using the tablet.

Bought this cable as a spare for my Galaxy Tab. It is ok for charging the device but was not reliable for data copy from the computer when connected via USB. Some files wouldn't copy and others took very long to copy. Gave up and plugged in the factory cable and everything went as expected. Suggest that the manufacturer list this as a "charge" cable only.

A nice alternative to the short OEM cable that comes with your tab. The extra length really comes in handy. Seems to be well made too. Now I'm able to use my tab when its charging.

Finally a solution for the short cables
It's long enough to make it practical to use the tab while charging. I was fed up with the short cables that the tabs come with, until I got this one.

Works same as original, length is good
The Khomo cord works just like the original Samsung cord except it is longer. It charges only when used with the Samsung plug. Read more

Extra length
The added length is perfect for charging my GTab while I'm using it. I use the cable that came with to hook my tab up to my pc and sync/transfer pictures, music, and videos.
