Wonderful for saving data and burning games or cd's. Nice spindle bundle to hold the cd's in so they don't get cracked, lost or ruined. I haven't had any problems with these yet! Nice capability of burning or copying at 12x speed, also storing 80min or 700MB of space! Great for backups or just reliability at a cheaper price than most brands and products! A must have!

These cd-r's are pretty good for the price. I had no problems with them, they are cheap, and they worked in all the different devices I tried them in. These are probably as good as it gets for Taiwanese cheap discs. Here's the details:

Well, ok, so the title of the review is a bit corney, but hey, 50 cd's for less than any other brand (can't beat it except at an auction, if you're lucky). Yes they are insanely cheap, I bought a spindle 50/50 burned perfectly!!! I even managed to squeeze an extra meg or 2 in some.

So to sum it up, Great Price, Great Quality, Great Reliability...

Why go for anything else???

I have seen both the positve and negative comments for this media. Let me add my two cents. So far I have burned 14 CDs off of my first spindle ever purchased, and all 14 worked fine. I did have one that faild a simulation pass, but copying the source CD to the HD first instead of "on the fly" copying proved a winner, and the disc holds data to this day. These blanks are very cheap, under 30cents per unit. At that price you can afford to back up just about anything (which I have been doing). I do however, have a friend who bought a spindle who says he has trouble getting them to burn at 4x speed on his Ricoh CDRW 4x drive. I do not have a CDRW, just a CDR, and it works at 4x and is a Panasonic model that is around 2.5 years old. I would give these a try, the whole spindle is [inexpensive]and even if you have to knock your speed down (which worked for my friend) the value is uncompromised, remember, other spindles are usually around twice this price. But to end, I must restate, I have not had one blank that would not be written to at 4x (for me at least).

The guy that can't get these to work then goes on to recommend Memorex as quality CD-R. Quality CD-R are Kodaks or any Taiyo Yuden (Fuji, etc.) NOT any Memorex free-after-rebate discs. That having been said, these KHypermedia's are GREAT for everyday burning. If you have a decent CD burner you will love these, especially for the price.

I have used up about 1/2 of my disks and do not have a coaster as yet. In fact, the disks do not fell like the thin & cheap two sided disks. They are well made and feel solid. All my disks were burned at 12x speed only. And believe it or not, my Sony player which is so finicky when it comes to cd-r's will actually play these music cd's without a complain.

For the price, its a steal.

I totally disagree with the first review claiming that this product does not burn well. I bought two spindle of this and all of them burn perfectly. Matter of fact, in some occation it works better than the other more expensive blanks that i have. KHypermedia is a brand that you can trust and rely on.

I love this KHypermedia CDRs. It's one of my favorite CDRs. I've recorded everything (data, music, video) to these discs, and everything works great. By the way, I have a Plextor 16x CD writer.

I don't know why the other reviewer (An electronics fan from Bourg, Louisiana USA) hates the discs so much. Perhaps he got a super old CD writer. No pun intended.

Great quality CDRs, cheap prices, what could you ask for more? I will definitely buy them again.

I have burned over 150 of these CDs WITHOUT 1 COASTER!!!!
They are a great deal!!
People who are burning coasters are either having buffer underrun problems, or have bad burners.
It certainly isn't the disks.

I used to copy audio CD with a 50% rate of success(Maxell), that
was the buffer underrun problem, since i bought another Cendyne
CDRW, it's been 100% on audio CD copy, although the speed was
somewhat slower due to source cd drive can only read at 8x, but
data cd has been written much faster, up to rated speed, so i
think some of the complains are misdirected, (Cendyne 4x4x8 for
source drive, Cendyne 12x10x32 for destination), incidently,
the 12x costed only half as much as the 4x drive, if i ever going
to receive my $20 rebate.
