This little duck foot is perfect for preventing topple-overs of the motorcycle because the kickstand sank into the ground surface. Absolutely great for hot weather and blacktop roads and lots. Perfect also because it's small and easily carried. For everyday use it's just what's called-for but for really gooey or soft ground material you'll still want something with a bigger footprint for when you park say in sandy areas ... this little pad will depress in that, or mushy mud.

Not bad, thick plastic pad, bought it for a sportbike. It looks like it could hold a heavier bike but Id feel better if it was metal in that case. Should last a while if I set the bike on it carefully.

2 years later...hasnt cracked yet, I set my bike on it gently though. I bought another one to put in my bikes 'trunk' and the other in the garage.

It works as well as it was designed to keep my scooter from sinking into the asphalt, I just wish there were someway it would stay attached to my bike so I would not leave it behind when I forgot to pick it up. I currently have a string attached to it that I wrap around the handlebar. It keeps me from forgetting the thing and is usefull in retrieving it from the ground, thus saving me risk of dumping my bike to pick it up.

This item is as advertised. No disappointment here. Supports my bike on the hottest of days. Increases surface space for my kickstand and saves me on replacing damaged chrome.

The stand rest works perfectly for my 2009 Kawi Versys. The stand rest is great on gravel and soft pavement. The plate does take a little getting used to to get the stand foot in the rest area correctly, but the bottom does slide very easy over both pavement and loose gravel to make adjustments.

The olny complaint I have is I keep forgetting to pick it up when I leave. I will probably make something to hook it and tie it off to the handlebar.

Doesn't cost that much and does what it's supposed to do. Easy to store and use. Practically weightless. Get one!

I was searching for a kick stand rest for my Kawasaki KLR650 with a stock kick stand. The receiver on this item is too small. I am going to have to use a dremel to see if I can modify it. Otherwise I may have to drill three holes and use small bolts to make a stop. The shipping was timely and the material is high quality.

This is heavily built in thickness, but not much larger than the Jiffy Stand on the bike. I don't think it'd work on a gravel or grassy shoulder, or even really hot asphalt. WalMart has one twice the size for the same price but no shipping. The shipping in this was several times the cost and not covered under Amazon Prime's free shipping.

I live in a new community that had a concrete base - now that they are wrapping up the building, they've recently paved with asphalt. It really hasn't begun to get hot, but I knew that it would come and I had better look for a product like this, or I'll find my bike on its side one morning. I ordered this, and immediately went outside after it arrived to place it under the stand - which had already sunk into the asphalt!

I can throw this is my saddle bag and not have to concern myself anymore with this type of issue.
