This is the best cleaner I've ever found! I have two cats, and periodically the older one will have an accident. I could never find anything to get the smell out until this! It completely removes the smell and gets the stain out of any fabric or upholstery. I've given bottles of it to my family and friends and it gets out just about anything. The only thing I've found that it doesn't work on is toner from a printer cartridge, but nothing works on that. I'd recommend it to everyone because it works and is safe and non-toxic, which anyone with a pet or small child can really appreciate. ******** It's over a year since I posted this and I still haven't found anything that even comes close. I've used it on everything and all types of fabric. There's never been a problem with color fastness or completely removing the odor/stain. I've actually started pouring in a capful on almost every wash cycle I do. Makes sure that everything comes out smelling great and stain free. I'm still telling everyone I know about it.

We recently moved in to a house with a pet urine smell in one corner of the carpeted basement. We didn't know how long it had been there, but I imagined it'd be next to impossible to get out since that sort of stain usually soaks through the carpet and permenates the concrete. Not having high expectations, I bought a 32 oz bottle of this stuff. Well, I was pleasantly surprised! I just squeezed out the whole bottle on to the carpet, put a fan on it, and low and behold - no more odor. This stuff really does work!

Let me first saying about how I came to find this product. I have a myspace account with about 5,000 friends and I posted a bulletin on there about how I desperately needed to clean up after a male cat who sprayed and peed everywhere in my home. I received probably thirty or more emails and two of them were recommending me to try this product. I looked online and no one had this product but Amazon and then the website also said that Target carried it also.

I read the reviews on Amazon and decided that I really needed this based on the positive reviews. I went to Target today which is the only place that I have been able to find it and there was only 3 left and I picked up two of them and came home and did my bedroom. It only costs $4 and some change per bottle Now I know that I should have got all 3 because I used 1 FULL bottle on my mattress alone! I am almost out of it since I have done my bedroom but I need about 10 more bottles to do my whole home. Cat urine is a very strong odor and I have had this odor in my home for several months even though I no longer have cats and I have used everything that you can possibly think of to clean my home. You name it, I have tried it. All kinds of spray Lisol cleaners as well as bleach, pine sol and several Febreeze and Oust, Lysol, Glade and several other cleaners including oda-ban, comet, etc.. Even brands promicing to remove pet odors and stains and none has worked. I have a fortune worth of cleaners under my cabinet right now but I am sure that this has done the trick because for now the smell is completely gone.

This product promices not just to cover up the odors but promices to completely eliminate the odors and whatver causes them. It breaks down the chemical in urine and completely eliminates it. My mom wanted to know why it did not come in a spray bottle and from reading on the website is because to get deep down in surfaces of carpets and mattresses, etc it has to go deep and a spray bottle only reaches the surface. I did pour less then a 1/2 a botle into a empty spray bottle so that I could clean the dresser and side of the mattress easier but actually it works better if it can reach deep down into surfaces so that is why it does not come into a spray bottle. Wow this product is amazing! I sprayed it on my mattress and you could actually hear it making a light siziling noise and I stuck my nose to it and I could not smell any more urine. I cannot sleep on my mattress tonight because I soaked it in this stuff but I really think that it did the trick!! I am going to mop my tiles with it tomorrow. You can also use this on your sofa and bedding, laundry as well as almost any household surface. I also used it to clean the dressers in my room! The only place that I probably will not be able to get into is deep into my vents and cats can pee in floor vents so I am trying to do what I can to clean it out. I hope that all of this information helps!

The smell of Kids N Pets is actually not strong at all, I cannot describe it but it has a light pleasant scent. It has been a few hours since cleaning and I am still able to smell it when I walk into my bedroom. The odor is not strong at all, not near as strong as other chemicals such as bleach, etc.. This is a marvelous product and I can highly recommend it to everyone. [...].. I will be back to load up tomorrow and I hope that they stock up! I plan on doing my entire home and also saving some even after the urine smell is gone because it does clean so well! This product also promices to eliminate other smells and stains such as skunk, blood, and sooooo much more.. Works great on Stains also... Give this product a try!

With multiple cats and a toddler, I've tried about every stain remover out there. Most leave a residual stain after cleaning. (And beware using multiple cleaners on one spot!) Anyway, Kids 'n' Pets works extremely well on a multitude of stains. I knocked one star off the rating due to the nozzle. It's basically a squirt nozzle and you end up saturating your carpet very easily. But I got a spray bottle for $1 at my local discount retailer which corrects the problem. I recommend this for anyone frustrated with finding a cleaner that works.

I switched to Kids & Pets acouple of months ago after reading the rave reviews.

We have 3 male cats who repeatedley mark their turf, and 1 incontinent geriatric one, so odor enzymes are part of our regular housekeeping arsenal. We even put the product into our mopping water and steamer.

So why am I going back to one of the other top rated brands?

1. In terms of odor conrol it works as well as NM and API, but I can't say it's better.

2. I need a large size bottle of this product as we go through about a 3/4 - 1 gallon per month. Having to buy it in the quart size bottles drives me nuts! I contacted the company and they said that a larger size was their #1 CUSTOMER REQUEST. The problem is that they are sold primarily through Walmart and cannot get the additional shelf space that another size would require...

3. K & P leaves a film on our sealed wooden floors. Now that we figured out why our floors don't get shiny clean any more, we are going to have to switch back. And both NM and AIP have larger sizes.

This product is absolutely fantastic for dog urine odor. We have tried a number of other products that only masked the odor for a few days and then it was back again.
This product completely removed any trace of odor. It saved hundreds of dollars to clean our furniture.

IT WORKS! We have a puppy and 2 cats, one of the cats likes to think outside the box, among digestive issues with vomit. Needless to say- she did that in several rooms on the carpet. I was so disgusted. It stunk so badly. I found this stuff at my local WM and saw the Amazon.com review.
IT WORKS! It not only made the new stuff disappear, but on the old stains- that the other stuff just disappeared.!
For me- I saturated the tough spots- (I have a cream colored carpet- so color fastness wasn't an issue) let sit the recommended 5 minutes, and then did use an absorbent rag to rub away the remaining stain. I then treated it again- and used the reoommended amount in my carpet cleaning machine. OMG!!!!! IT WAS Amazing- I kept yelling at my husband to come and look at the carpet because it looks SOOOO clean and the smell is not harsh and chemical. It left it soft and pliable, not sticky or hard or matted in that area. There were only a few really really old stains that didn't come up 100%- but I think if I treated it a few more times with just the solution undiluted (not in the carpet cleaning machine) they will come up. I am amazed, and for the price- you can't beat it. It's amazing stuff. My husband (the logical analyze everything kind of guy) said it was because of the enzyme feature. We had tried other enzymatic cleaners and NOTHING came close to this. Funny thing is that I bought because it was the cheapest and the amazon review!
For me- it worked on cat and dog vomit, poop, and urine. AMAZING! I stocked up on this stuff! It really does work- now I can go put it on the spot in my car where my puppy pottied on my seat.

I tried several different products after my dog had a huge accident on our carpet that proceeded to dry until we found it days later. We used a steam cleaner, bissel products, vinegar, and tons of other carpet products. We were about to call a professional when we tried Kids N' Pets. We just soaked the stain with the solution and let it dry. It not only removed the stain but most importantly it completely removed the (very strong) urine smell! I would recommend this product to anyone!

This product works great. The only "complaint" I have is: when I want to spray a stain one more time just to make sure I got it right the first time, I have trouble finding the same spot. It's that good.

A word of advice. I don't know if these are refill bottles, but it's very difficult not to overuse the product as packaged. So I pour the solution into other empty spray bottles--like febreeze (Obviously, just make sure you label it). This way, I can control/conserve how much I use.

I had just taken my new puppy for a ride in my car and first thing she did was wee on my new car seat. I did not realize this until we returned from our trip. Needless to say, my car just reeked! I tried this and instantly the foul odor was gone! I love this stuff and keep several on hand since I now have another new puppy!!
