Book Description

February 23, 2011
RIDING THE COSMIC FLOW The author started his early life as an avowed atheist yet while suffering a disease which a doctor termed fatal, a spirit appeared and told him he would not die. His great-grandmother, a Seer, predicted his life, but he refused to believe her-until it started happening. Doors opened as if by magic. Work in a unique film studio in England, living in a desert tent in Egypt, an act in a local variety show got him into professional broadcasting, journalism and news photography. He became an international correspondent meeting kings and killers. One gunman saved his life-twice. He was arrested in Baghdad for photographing kings eating and in Cyprus he scooped a major Press award for a newspicture. Strange Cosmic energies called kinks stopped him from being in a major British train crash and sailing on a troopship that sank. A spirit voice warned him of an air attack and again saved him from walking through a Lebanese minefield. The voice warned him as bullets smashed through his hotel room. In all this, he suffered from a negative ego but this was about to change. The Seer had predicted he would go west though he vowed he never would. Arriving in Canada, his work in broadcasting brought four awards for documentaries. Then he found himself living a double life, one professional, the other spiritual. With the help of Spirit Guides and a Guardian Angel he embraced a life of metaphysics, healing and higher learning, and in doing so dissolved the negative ego, the cause of all suffering. As predicted so many years before by the Seer, he set himself free and started to "work with the light" and help people understand Cosmic Forces. This book is the story of his personal quest. His life story is amply illustrated with photos, most of which are his own. Today, in the United States he teaches a release from suffering and how to attain Cosmic consciousness. The author believes kinks in the Cosmos happen in everyone's life but we fail to recognize these as opportunities and go with the flow. He became an international journalist and news photographer without any formal college or university training.

More About the Author

Robert Egby believes each one of us is on a life quest. He has been a teacher of self-empowerment, spiritual development and mysticism for over thirty years. His style is informative, personal, sometimes dramatic, sometimes humorous, but always ready to help anyone in their Quest for the True Self and the Universal Mind.

Now he has turned to a teenage ambition of becoming a novelist. His first book, an historical novel "Pentadaktylos: Love, Promises and Patriotism in the Last Days of Colonial Cyprus," came out this year, and is being followed early in 2012 by "The Guardians of Stafka" another historical novel set in the last days of Tsarist Russia and Western Canada.

Robert has passed through many doors in his own quest. Accredited British war correspondent, award winning news photographer and broadcaster, public relations director, hypnoanalyst, dowser, sound healer, medium, and ordained minister. His autobiography "Kings, Killers and Kinks in the Cosmos: Treading Softly with Angels Among Minefields" -- with over seventy photographs was published in March 2011.

Robert lives with his partner, Betty Lou and two chihuahuas, Satchmo and Bubba, on Chaumont Bay, Lake Ontario where they conduct workshops on self-publishing and higher consciousness.

5.0 out of 5 stars An intriguing personal history, June 13, 2011

(REAL NAME)
This review is from: KINGS, KILLERS AND KINKS IN THE COSMOS (Paperback)
Robert Egby's autobiography shows that a medium has to establish a

delicate balance between experiences in this world and connections with

the next. He gives a lively account of his personal family and working

life and his adventures in the armed forces, then as an award-winning

photo-journalist in some of the closing chapters of the history of the

British Empire, and then finally moving across the Atlantic to explore

North America. There he has raised his family and worked on various

important projects while at the same time developing his psychic

abilities as a medium and Spiritualist minister.

Throughout his life he has taken a keen interest in current affairs as

well as deepening his search for the spiritual meaning for life, and in

sharing his personal thoughts and feelings on this inner journey, he

has become and excellent and reliable teacher for those who want to

widen their own horizons. This book and his three previous titles are

rich sources of spiritual truth, and offer sound guidance for those

wishing to developing their own intuitive abilities. Richard Rowley - reviewing at [...]

This review is from: KINGS, KILLERS AND KINKS IN THE COSMOS (Paperback)
Robert, You topped your other books. While this one is two fold in information I could just about live your experiencs. What an awesome way to relive your life and find your true self. This book is for Spiritualist as well if they get the message (kinks in the universe) were the times the Unseen (Spirit) maneuvered the way. Keep the ink a flowing....your writing is needed in this world.

Marilyn J Awtry - Latest book of mine is Spiritualism on the Move: A Realty Check for the New Century - and a thank you to Robert for the title.

5.0 out of 5 stars Kudos!, April 16, 2011
This review is from: KINGS, KILLERS AND KINKS IN THE COSMOS (Paperback)
Having read and thoroughly enjoyed Robert's earlier works, I was very pleasantly surprised by this candid memoir of such an interesting life lived. An easily read "history book" in addition to a fascinating life's story, I found it difficult to put down. Kudos, Robert--you have done it again!!
