5.0 out of 5 stars The first for me...., January 15, 2012
By
This review is from: KINKS Golden Hour 2 Record Set (Vinyl)
25 tracks!
The very first Kinks album I bought, in 1977, for $2.99, I think.
This had me hooked on the Kinks forever onwards.
Only one UK A side is featured, "Everybody's Gonna Be Happy".
The other tracks are B sides, EP tracks, and album tracks from the first two UK albums.
These songs were really rare at the time I bought the record.

The first volume of the Golden Hour Series I bought on tape around a year or two later.
More of a hits compilation, although some rarer tracks ( for the time) were there, "Sittin' On My Sofa," "Louie Louie", 'Animal Farm", "Shangri-la".
Not featured were "Lola", "Apeman", and "Death Of a Clown" hits from the era that these albums were concerned.
And on the front covers we were told "60 minutes Playing Time", which was true, so good value for money.
