This review is from: Unexplained (Kiss) (Paperback)
As a skeptic and veteran reader of conspiracy and "the unexplained" books, this one left me a bit cold. There are others out there better suited to the adult reader (such as: The 80 Greatest Conspiracies Of All Time). However, for a very first introduction or for the teenage reader, this work is quite suitable. It is British based, so don't expect to find all-American greats such as the Kennedy or Martin Luther King assassinations, or other CIA or spy-time conspiracy. This books sticks to the paranormal, psychic, natural anomalies and UFO's.

This review is from: KISS Guide to the Unexplained (Keep It Simple Series) (Paperback)
This book has good paper, large print, colourful illustrations, and many discussions about the occult, UFOs, strange sea creatures, ghosts, etc. It doesn't cover everything in a lot of detail...but it does contain a more-than-adequate amount of info on these subjects. It's a great "first book" on these subjects for anyone, and, of course, one can always research one's favourite "strange subjects" in other books. Not an "Encyclopedia Brittanica" on the subject....but more of a "World Book".
It's an OK beginner's book on all the myriad subjects within! |
