If you are a Kiss fan this is just the best game ever. The engine works really nice and the characters are great. Enjoy your new game.

Fun Shooter,
This review is from: KISS Psycho Circus: The Nightmare Child (CD-ROM)
KPC was ultimately a let-down after the hype it received during development. But what you do get is a straight-forward, fun, action shooter in a dark, carnival-gone-bad world that throws hordes of enemies your way on-screen at once. The last level is unimaginative and poor, but the rest of the game is genuinely entertaining for the most part. Many of the people who criticize the game haven't even played it, they just follow the "I'm a PC gamer" lemming mentality so prevalent on the internet, and only play whatever is cool or most popular.

Actually worth the money,

In spite of the many "professional" editorial reviews, I found the game quite entertaining. The AI is about equal to Quake and the graphics engine (LithTech, I believe) looks very good, except for the holes. A hole is a space in the engine where surfaces don't quite come together and I "fell through" at least two of them. There are a few places where you can see the "edges" of surfaces and some of the enemy's actions can extend through walls. Watch out for "foot traps" that unintentionally prevent you from moving. In spite of all this, gameplay is quite acceptable, imagery is excellent, and the game is devoid of "dumb jumping tasks." Be sure and use spectator mode to take a look around each level.

Run, jump, shoot, run, jump, shoot, run ju-Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. I actually fell asleep playing this game, its so repetitive. I was looking for a really good blow-em-up time when I bought this game but the weapons are really lame and the same thing happens over and over again. It was fun for about an hour then things got real boring real fast.

KISS PC GAME IS GREAT!!!,

I bought this game because I had done all the first person shooter games out there and I needed something new. The game was cheap, $2.00 plus shipping. Kiss is not my favorite rock band....too basic but I have to admit that the PC game is excellent. Great game play and graphics. Tons of levels so one really gets ones moneys worth. The game also plays great on Windows XP. Cheat codes are easy to do so one can fly around in the game which changes everything...........it makes it a whole new game. After a while I actually started to enjoy the Kiss rock music as well. It fits the game atmosphere. If you want a fun first person shooter that is inexpensive, give this game a shot. Believe me, you won't regret it.

To start off, I would say that I would have liked to give this game at least four stars. Imaginative setting, more monsters than you can shake a stick at, frantic pace, and KISS (sorta). However, it's so full of bugs that it becomes unplayable after a while. Even with the latest patch it crashed a lot. And yes, I made sure all my hardware drivers were up-to-date. The worst problem was the corrupted save files. I'd click to load a saved game, and my entire system would lock up. The game's official discussion forum, which appears to be gone now, was full of people saying how buggy this game is. Probably worth a try as a bargain-bin title. If it works on your machine, you'll have a blast.

KISS Psycho Circus The Nightmare Child is a great game. It has amazing graphics, a good plot, the smooth gameplay and engine, but I'm not fan of KISS! I never liked KISS and never really will..but this game is soo cool that you don't need to like KISS to get interested in this game! I love this game but I still don't like KISS. I'm not saying they're bad, but they don't amuse me. On the other hand, this game absolutely does! Order it today and enjoy a fast paced, rock n' roll, thrill ride of the YEAR 2K! -Carlos Jr. aka JC Denton

An original game and Nice Idea,

Overall, I liked playing the game. I think the levels are well thought out and the weapons are pretty original especially Ace's Galaxian. I would reccommend the game to anyone for the gameplay. However, the game is buggy. I did install the latest patch and even tried emailing tech support but nobody answered me. After getting almost halfway throught the game, my game saves disappeared and for some reason the game would not load after running the game twice. It would only work again after a reboot. Also, there are secrets places in the game where you can find pages to the comic book. These pages tell you about your weapons, game items, enemies and other game characters. I am certain I have picked up pages and no new information would be available. For example there is a rage orb that affords you to never run out of ammo. If I could have found that out sooner rather than on the last stage of the game, it would have made things alot easier. There was no game manual to tell me this, you have to find pieces of the manual in the game.

This game is just a FPS , nothing more , I enjoy First Person Shooters , but this game is only for Kiss fans and fans of the Comic , I still recamend it , but it won't blow you away like the Tom Clancy Games or Far Cry.
