This "slicer, dicer, chopper, smasher, etc." has been the backbone of my kitchen for over 20 years. I bought at a home show demonstration and worried about the impulse buying. No need to worry. I have put it to every test know to man/woman kind and it never fails me. I just don't recommend pushing the chopped onions down the side with your finger while you are turning the handle. I have washed it in the dish washer, I have dropped it; it has really gotten the gorilla test. I have no memory of what I paid for it, but it has paid for itself a hundred times over. I know that companies tend to make items cheaper as the years go by, and I truly hope that hasn't happened here. Be VERY wary of the "made for tv ad" about the ChefDini. It looks just like mine but it is much more expensive (I know I would never have paid their asking price plus shipping and handling)Just go to Amazon and look at what is available. Then you can make your decision without the "operator" pressure and all the "perks". Take it cautiously.

I am usually very pessimistic on this type of items - but I decided to try it being that I am single - I am pleasantly surprised that it worked as stated - but am more than Stanfield that ALL the attachments works also - Sure is saving me a lot of time,Thanks You David P. Husband's favorite kitchen gadget,

This is my husband's favorite kitchen gadget. He loves homemade salsa and I used to make it for him on special occasions. Then he saw this demonstrated at a hunting show and he bought one. He uses it at least once a week to make pico de gallo. I'm happy because I don't have to make the salsa anymore and he loves this thing. We are buying one for each member of our family this christmas. He's had his for a year now and it's still going strong.

Great for a minute, poor overall!,

I saw it advertised on TV. I saw it demonstrated in person. I used it many times. Now I have to decide to go back to knife or buy another. With no warrantee or even a manufacturer contact I have no recourse now that the unit has cracked and become useless. Should I buy another or use my chef's knife? A factory replacement is out of the question with no contact information. In the end I am disapointed. After falling in love, to have my heart dashed to the ground, shame on them, shame on me!

I have had an older version of this product for years. My children are all grown and married now. They all love using my kitchen plus, so I purchased each of them one and a new one for me. The one I have is still as sharp as when I purchased it, but I wanted another anyway.

Doesn't Work - Waste of Money - Use a Knife,
By John (Houston, Texas) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Kitchen Plus 2000 Chopper
This was the most flimsy kitchen gadget I've ever seen. After one time it broke. Construction is cheap and although I tried cutting cabbage, I can't imagine anything that this product could cut - maybe marshmallows. This maker seems to have the market cornered so I have fallen back on the knife to do this job.
