Even though I read some bad reviews about this product I bought it anyway. I was hoping I would be luckier. Nope. It does not fit properly and it stills let wet ingredients as well as flour get everywhere: countertop/floor. Not a good buy.

It would be a lot nicer if the shield click tight to the bowl. I have to hold the shield tightly so the flour won't knock off the shield.

As stated previously, does not lock onto the mixing bowl, but sits loose. There is space between the shield and the bowl, which allows liquids through, and the shield is so light and flimsy that any large items that hit it knock it off anyway. Absolutely NOT worth your money.

I am so glad I bought this shield! I love that it's 1 piece, it installs really easily, and fits great in the dishwasher. I make a lot of cake batter and frosting, and it makes adding things while the mixer is running a lot easier and reduces the mess. Nothing is perfect, so when I add powdered sugar I do place a towel over the mixer so I don't breathe in the dust, but I love it for adding eggs into batter. Even with the powdered sugar it does reduce the amount that flies around.

I love it! I had to order it twice the first time I ordered the wide mouth and it did not fit but this one does. It has made baking so much more easy and less of a mess I wish I had gotten one sooner. Happy baking!
