We bought this SABRE Pepper Spray (the Black model) for my daughter to carry with her when traveling to and from college, which is 6 hours in each direction. We know that SABRE is one of the main manufactures of Pepper Spray so felt comfortable with the brand. Here are my observations:

Likes -
+ Main Unit is perfect sized for the hand
+ Belt\Strap Clip is well designed so it is not likely to snag
+ Quick Release Key Ring works as expected and allows for detaching the Pepper Spray when needed

Dislikes -
- While the activation plunger must be twisted to use, I am not positive that it can't be positioned by accident
- Has limited shelf life, mine "expires" in March 2014 (4 years out)

My daughter says she feels better having it, but we still stress the importance of avoiding situations where it could be needed.

This is a conveniently sized canister that has bought us a little peace of mind.

I go to gunshows all the time, and this product is far better than the majority of similar products that are offered for sale and a better price for the item.

I am so happy I purchased this pepper spray for evening photo shoots. I feel much safer at night, carrying it with me, although thankfully I have not had any opportunity to use it. I hope I never have to test it out, but I have no doubt that if I do, it will be very easy to whip out, flip the little switch and depress the spray trigger.

I bought this just as a thing to keep for self protection.

My friend was curious to see as if it actually worked as well as it claims, and we sprayed once onto the floor. The result was choking throughout the whole room causing class to be disbanded earlier. Pretty amazing if you ask me, and that was an indirect spray!

Also love that it comes with a little keychain that goes great with your keys!

The product came as posted. I have never had to use it, but you can tell that it is full and new by the extreme packaging that it come in. It is a great tool to have while walking in Chicago by yourself as a girl.

Very happy w/this product- Works! Had to use it once (unfortunately)on some strays - They took off! The price was accepable & came readily.

The latch does not lock. There is no way to prevent this from leaking out all over your purse, hands, pets, children, etc. There is no lock. There is a play lock, or something that looks like it was intended to be a lock, but I think it's just for show. It does not lock, and even when it is in "locked" position, it leaks red juice all over everything. The size is bulky and cumbersome, and the only reason to buy this is because you like the color pink and have no intention of actually handling this cheap piece of plastic.

I am a female and I walk my small dog a lot at night, and I never leave the house without my pepper spray! Not only is it for protection from dangerous people, but there are a lot of coyotes in my area, so it makes me feel more protected than not having anything. Plus I love the pink!

I ordered this item to have protection because I come home at night from work. I ordered it two weeks ago, it was suppose to come 3 days ago. I sent a file complaint to the owner and I'm still waiting for a reply back. I cannot cancel my order until he cancels it >_<; So much for my protection. Very, Very disappointed!
