I have wanted to memorize the book of Philippians for a long time. It has seemed an impossible task, much as I love this particular book of the Bible. Ray Fowler's method makes it so easy for me to learn the verses. I found it extremely easy to download the Amazon Kindle to my computer and then to download the book. The introduction to Scripture memory is also excellent.

I was not particularly looking to memorize the Bible, but instead I was looking for an eReader Bible, in a translation I liked that I could navigate easily. I downloaded this one onto my Kindle - I like the KJV and the price was good, so I thought I would give it a try. I read the section explaining how to use the system of toggling between full verse and just-the-first-letter-of-each-word for memorization. That was super-easy to use and I found myself memorizing Psalm 23 in about 10 - 15 minutes. Then I tried to look up a particular verse and found that that feature was also really straightforward and super easy.
In summation - I'd say just on ease of navigation and KJV translation, get this Bible. The memorization feature is wonderful and a joy to use, and the price is terrific. If this author ever puts out a NIV in this easy memorization format, I will buy that as well. |
