4.0 out of 5 stars The Glory of God
This is THE bible- he wanted everyone to be able to afford it. Don't read cheap, imitation "bibles"- the binding will rip and the pages will fall out. Contains both the Old and New Testament. Jews adhere to the Old Testament with baptized Christians leaning to the New Testament. Mormon is not a branch of any Christian church because they don't accept Jesus Christ as their...

3.0 out of 5 stars Nice Bible but wrong color
The item in question is indeed the Bible style I was looking for. It's a very well done book, a quality construction. The text is smallish and in a different font than I am used to seeing, so if easy reading is what you are after, I don't know this is Bible for you. My main complaint is the cover and binding color. It is indeed not black; it's very bright blue to my...

The item in question is indeed the Bible style I was looking for. It's a very well done book, a quality construction. The text is smallish and in a different font than I am used to seeing, so if easy reading is what you are after, I don't know this is Bible for you. My main complaint is the cover and binding color. It is indeed not black; it's very bright blue to my eye, or as the other reviewer stated, purple. It's not what I had intended at all. It won't go to waste but the picture and the description need to change to reflect what you actually receive. Is there a blue Bible you can buy so that you receive a black one on the site? This is the first time I have had this trouble with a product so brazenly different that what I thought I was ordering from Amazon.

This review is from: KJV Gift & Award Bible, Revised (Imitation Leather)
This is THE bible- he wanted everyone to be able to afford it. Don't read cheap, imitation "bibles"- the binding will rip and the pages will fall out. Contains both the Old and New Testament. Jews adhere to the Old Testament with baptized Christians leaning to the New Testament. Mormon is not a branch of any Christian church because they don't accept Jesus Christ as their savior and prophet. Many have fallen at the hands of Christ as the result of the gospel of Jesus Christ presented in here, this is THE...REAL...HOLY BIBLE...ACCEPT NO IMITATIONS!! I was baptized. But there's a catch- you can't MAKE them go to church! We get freedom of religion from Martin Luther, thus where the Lutherin denomination of Protestant comes from. If you are seriously interested in becoming a Christian I would recommend reading this Bible slowly and watch the movies Luther, The Passion of Christ and The Birth of a Nation.
