I was a bit skeptical when I bought this for my 9-year-old daughter for Christmas 2000 but have been very pleased with its performance and durability. The cassette player, CD player and radio all have worked flawlessly and the compact size is perfect for her small room. The controls are simple, large and easy to use. She records great sounding cassette tapes from the radio and the CD. My daughter is impressed with its cool design and translucent turquoise color and I'm impressed that I got a product that's worth the money I paid for it.

This little baby is very cool. I just recieved this boombox from amazon and as a normal guy (not some sort of audiophile) I think this boombox sounds pretty good. The sound is crisp and loud enough to annoy the rest of the family and it has a bit of a retro look to it. That's just groovy baby. The build feels pretty solid, except for the handle, but it'll just be a house stereo so I don't have to worry about that too much. I would highly recommend this radio for someone looking for a cheap radio/tape/cd player that sounds pretty good and looks very happening. =-)
