We found that the KLH 325s sounded best in smaller applications where they can power a room on their own, such as office or bedroom setups. They're too large and too efficient for close-quarters computer use; a tiny boost from a small amplifier is more than enough to get the 325s cranking. Supplied brackets facilitate wall mounting, but make sure the tweeters are at or below ear level, as the high frequencies cut out sharply the second you move off-axis.
When positioned correctly, the 325s offer surprisingly balanced sound. Given their three-driver design, we assumed KLH would try to push a lot of bass from these speakers, but this is not the case. The manufacturer has wisely let the speakers "speak" in the range most comfortable for them and they're all the more listenable for it. Voices and strummed guitars (both acoustic and electric) sounded especially sweet at both loud and soft levels, inviting sustained listening. Lengthy, soldered speaker wire is supplied for flexible positioning.

Quality Satilite Speakers for the money.,
By A Customer
This review is from: KLH Model 325 Platinum Series Speakers (Pair) (Electronics)
These speakers are a cost-effective solution for remote sound in a Family Room or Home Office. The sound is better than expected for the low cost. Plenty of power to be used without additional speakers. Wall mounting is tricky (non-adjustable bracket), but achievable.
