A nice addition to our school's Knex collection, plus it comes with a spring motor and more building ideas which allows our kids to to build more and bigger stuff. Good value. I may buy another one.

If your kids love to build, and mine do, they will love this K'nex box. It has a LOT of pieces - this was a strong selling point in my house as we have a few boys and they can all play together, which was the point of this toy. It comes with instructions for lots of different kinds of things to build, including a motor which is really fun. My boys played with this toy for hours and days, and was very helpful when we were snowed in for three days. (Sorry, maybe girls would like this too but I only have boys so I can't say)

I remember I had this when I was about 12 and I am 18 now. I see the newer models out and think they're a waste because you could just buy this 400 piece set that has detailed instructions. I easily made many amusement park rides with this. Plus, it doesn't limit the kid's imagination. It's a great value.

My son (5) is totally into building with blocks and creating with tinkertoys and legos, so I wanted to try Knex even though he is 7 yet. Knex are so awesome because the creations are so real and do not fall apart like tinkertoys. Right now though, it is not something he has the dexterity to do by himself, which is fine by me, because we play together. I ask him to find the number of pieces I need of each color and I assemble it and when it is done, he plays with it. And it the end product is a real toy you can play with! When I first got Knex, I was frustrated and thought you needed a degree in engineering to figure out how to assemble it, but after studying the pictures carefully, it is clearer than the the pictures in the Tinkertoy booklet. I suggest that you take a deep breath and have patience if you want to make some of the things in the book. If you do not have the time to help your child assemble these things, this is not the toy for you. Now, we cannot wait to buy more super sets, like the bridges.

Me and my little brother can just sit and play with this for hours. My mom especially likes it since usually we would be fighting over things. But this Knex has 400 pieces and is a great deal. I also get to teach my brother things. Make him look up to me more. Which Im so happy about.These Knex have an assortment of peices. Which include: tires,a motor,"gears",connecting peices,and many more. This is very educational for 5-8 year olds.I've seen Nex in my brothers class,and teachers love it.This is just amazing!!!

My son has had this for a year and plays with it all the time. His imagination has really developed while playing with these. The creations he comes up with make him and us very proud. I think any kid boy or girl would benefit by playing with k'nex.

This toy is good in all ways. I find it a lot of fun to build with. I can sit down and build for hours. Its a great toy.

This is a great for using your imagination. However, this particular item is selling for a higher price here. I'd shop this item and other K'Nex items.
