the item you will recieve isn't the one pictured... the description list this as a two piece phone... judging by the picture the roof comes off revealing the dial pad and the roof serves as the microphone and speaker... however... what you get is a ONE PIECE PHONE... with the whole content of the car in the palm of your hand... with the dial pad located on the under carriage... not anything you'ld want to have a lengthy conversation on...

Nice for the 57 Chevy Collector,

I bought this for my Dad for Fathers Day last year as he is a 57 Chevy Collector. It's a great item for that reason, but I doubt he would replace his home phone with it. Not exactly designed for a long conversation, but definitely a conversation piece. I would gladly buy one again if I knew another collector.
