Piece of crap. Not compatible with Ipod Touch and I got my son one for Christmas. Instructions are in SPANISH only. Cute to look at, but that is it.

Yes, that is what I paid for this piece of Junk...Came with Spanish instructions, guess what? we don't read or speak Spanish, 4G does not work on it. If I could find the person that sold this, not sure what I would do!

This product does not work with most I-PODSs. I bought this for my granddaughter for Christmas, the instructions were in other languages, but not English. She was unable to use it because her I-pod was incompatible - it also didn't work with any of her friends I-PODS either.

REALLY?! I totally got ripped off! Complete piece of junk, and I BOUGHT 4 of 'em for my nieces and nephews! Doesnt work anywhere near like I expected.... iPod touch does NOT charge UNLESS you plug funkit into a pc. Funkit does NOT play the music from iPod through the funkit speakers. If you are looking for something to HOLD your iPod touch with blinking lights than this is the piece of junk for you! Funkit should be called JUNKIT! AHHHHHHH!!

This will be displayed in my office to match one in a co-workers office. My boyfriend is crazy about the Funk It.

I needed a speaker system for my iPod especially whilst at work, and wanted one that was veratile in that it would run on batteries as well as electrical power after much searching I accidentally came across this system. Although a few of the reviewers said that it wouldnt play with their individual iPods I figured that as it could connect other mp3 players via a lead at the back I would be quite happy with my iPod connecting through that.

When I got my speakers in - first of all it did work with my iPod (I have a 7G Classic) yayyy and everyone were quite impressed with it and had to watch it function.

I dont know why a lot of reviewers complained that the instructions were in spanish...because its really simple to operate. If using batteries you put them in or otherwise you connect the power lead. You plug you ipod onto the docking pin or connect it via the lead (provided) to your mp3 player, and switch it on, conveniently the on/off and volume are the same knob. And there is a little demo button stationed between the two turntables.

The sound is quite hefty for such a little gadget, fills a room easily. Now it wouldnt work for a large party but it did quite well for a patio BBQ yesterday, and as it charged my iPod whilst playing so that after nine and half hours playtime I still had a fully charged player for this morning.

The downside is that you cant adjust the bass and such. The dancer and LED lights located around the speakers dont function to the music. And my LED lights are all blue although the picture on the webpage shows green and red lights.

But other than that its a fantastic little system, that is interesting and amusing to watch and a great conversation maker and as well as an excellent ice breaker.

Be sure your type of Ipod works on this!! We have two - both 4th Generation Ipods - one that plays without headphones, one that needs the headphones ... the speakers work on the older one that does not play without the use of headphones but will not work with the newer one. Was not aware of that beforehand. Worth the money as son has enjoyed with the one Ipod but definitely be sure it will work with your Ipod beforehand.

this thing is so cool, however i only have an iphone 4G, not an ipod...it wouldn't work and i was forced to return it :( has anyone been able to get it to work with the 4G? i've seen one on display at the mall work with a 3G, it gives the same error message but it will still play out of the speakers.

also the speaker quality isn't the greatest but it's loud enough for a small get together or something like that.

WE ordered this for our teen daughter for Christmas and she loves it. the speakers are great. and the dj adds the cool to it. Everyone in family enjoyed watching the DJ while the music played. it was definitely worth the money we paid for it.

The funk it is cute to watch, and it works with regular mp3's, not just Ipods, which is nice. I thought it would dance in sync wth the music, but it just has it's own beat, regardless of the music. I thought for the money there would be a little more to it. That being said, the kids get a kick out of it. It is an ok set of speakers with a little entertainment on the side.
