If you buy this book you will never need another knitting pattern. Step by step the author takes you through the basics of pattern creation so that you can create sweaters that fit using your own stitch and/or color combinations. It is must have--the single book I refer to over and over again. It unleashes your creativity by providing the secrets of pattern creation. Not glossy, just line illustrations to get the point across--use the more expensive books for inspiration--this is nuts and bolts. The best.
