Two-part miniseries based on the long-running primetime soap opera, "Knots Landing." Mack's midlife crisis causes serious marital problems for Mack and Karen. They also disagree over whether or not to tell their adopted daughter that Greg is her real father. Across the cul-de-sac, Val and Gary are enjoying a blissful time in their relationship until Kate returns home with her 4-year-old daughter who bears an uncanny resemblance to Gary. To make matters worse, Val is implicated in a murder when a hack writer with whom she once collaborated on a screenplay is found dead. In a desperate attempt to get money for back taxes, Abby makes a deal with Sumner, who backs out at the last minute. Meanwhile, Abby's son Brian falls for Kate, and Sumner's ex-wife Anne returns from a four year fling in Paris.

For anyone who loved Knots Landing this mini-series is terrific. Best of all it brings back Donna Mills as Abby Fairgate Cunningham Ewing Sumner and reunites her with William Devane as Gregory Sumner. The pairing is fantastic! This couple really made one of the longest-running series on television compelling.
THIS DVD NEEDS TO BE BACK ON THE MARKET NOW!!!

I can not understand why warners does not put out the rest of Knots Landing. I really enjoyed this little taste of the show i have loved more than any other.
