K'nex Pirate Ship Park,

This review is from: Pirate Ship Park (Toy)
Pirate Ship Park is the set for you if you are interested in K'nex and an exciting and challenging building experience. The set includes a pirate ship, motor, sound module, and cardboard decorations. The pirate ship consists of two plastic ship-designed pieces, a frame, and seats. Four people are also included to ride your set once it is completed.
The set itself is not as challenging as some other K'nex sets, but the pirate ship is one of the most challenging parts of the set to build. You have to get the pieces in just the right place for it to come together the right way. Once completed, it looks really cool. Once the set is completed, you start the motor and let the ship go. Once it gets going, the ship eventually makes 360-degree loops, hitting the sound module, which makes screaming sounds. If you have tile floors, you will need to install four suction cups to the set to hold it to the floor. If you have carpet floors, I don't think you will need the suction cups attached. The set, once completed, is very cool. The cardboard decorations add a nice touch to it. I really enjoyed contructing Pirate Ship Park. If you chose to buy this set, I hope you will enjoy constructing it, too.

Works great. A terrific addition to a K'Nex "big build" collection.,

I'm not sure why a few reviewers have had trouble with this item. My 9-year-old assembled this set without any assistance whatsoever (I couldn't say that about the K'Nex coasters or ball towers). He has several other K'Nex "big build" sets, and this was a great addition because it's not another roller coaster. It also doesn't take up as much space! He keeps this one in his room. Recommended!!!

waste of money,

I purchased this toy and although we had fun putting it together, it did not run as was advertised. The final models were flimsy and would not hit the wheels to spin it properly. Sure you can sit there and force ti ti go but that is not what they advertise. I built the pitrate ship that is suppose to go 360 degrees. couldn't even go back and forth without help. today we built the g-force ride. Very flimsy and again will not go without your adjustments and you sitting there coaxing it. Although it is good for children to learn to read the directions; the toy does not live up to its billing. Basically I think it is a waste of money. Tom
