My son already has a couple of the larger K'nex sets and enjoys playing with them. This set was small by comparison and didn't have enough building options to hold my son's attention for very long. After a while, we just ended up dumping these pieces into the bucket with all his other pieces. I don't believe that this item is worth the price. Instead, check out one of the larger sets that comes with a motor.
