My 2 year old son received this as an early Xmas gift and he hasn't put it down since. My 6 year old daughter is fighting to play with it also. The small pieces definitely make this a toy for ages 3+ unless your child never puts toys in his mouth. My son loves to take things apart and put them back together so this is the perfect toy for him. Parts snap in easily and take apart easily so he can play all by himself. It's fun to see what your small children will come up with when playing. Highly recommend!

My boys (3 and 6) like to play with this toy together. They have played with it off and on for over a year. The sets are a little small. I wish there were more than 2 different ones available.
