K'NEX Vertical Vengeance Coaster

It was easy to build the vertical vengeance because I have been working with k'nex for a long time. The only problem was that they are so small that if you drop a piece it is almost impossible to find. But the K'nex company was very helpful and replaced the pieces for free. The other problem is the tracks were hard to connect. But once it done it is super cool and lots of fun.

I got this set for Xmas and built it in about 2 hours, not very long at all for a Knex set. Once you finish, the outcome is great, a twisting, twirling Roller Coaster with some cork screws. I am surprised at how smooth and swift the cars moved along the track. The directions are incredibly easy to follow too. I also thought it was fun building this set, because the pieces are so much smaller than regular Knex pieces, which makes it easy for little kids to handle and build with the pieces too.The set even includes an alternate, easier to build coaster which also works great, and that you can build in about 1 Hour. Overall, this is probably one of my favorite out of 7 different giant Knex sets.
This is one GREAT product.

My 10 year old son put this together with minimal help. It took him a few hours a day for about 3 days. Now he is enjoying playing with it. A great Christmas gift! It does require a place of its own since it takes up about a 3 by 3 foot area.

#1 The packaging of the pieces is horrible. Everything is thrown together in plastic bags without labels or logic. I recommend opening the bags for your child, unless you want to be picking tiny K'NEX out of your carpet all afternoon. I bought some bead organizing boxes to help keep things together, since the original box doesn't provide for efficient storage of all the pieces. #2 The instructions are not as clear as other K'NEX sets that my son has. Sometimes it's difficult to tell from the pictures how the connectors should be placed or what side of the structure you should be working on. We have had to retrace and redo several steps for this reason. Overall, the idea is fun and my son was very excited to receive it as a present. It's a great alternative to video games or DVDs on a bad weather day. I'm curious to see the finished product and even more curious to see how long it keeps my son's attention once it's complete.

This thing is definately not over five feet tall I am 4 foot 9 and it is shorter than me.My brother recieved this gift from Kris Kringle A.K.A. Santa Claus and made me do all the work sheesh what a brother.But this thing is not the thing I would find worthit to build everyday.all the pieces are smaller pieces except for 2.You can never find any of the pieces and the instructions are hard to follow.the cars always got stuck somewhere.Now my brother liked it but I found it somewhat kinda boring.Not the thing I would spend [...] on.

I BOUGHT THIS ITEN FOR MY 13 YEAR OLD FOR CHRISTMAS, SHE SPENT 2 DAYS BUILDING IT AND IT DIDN'T WORK. THE CHAIN WOULD NOT GO ON CORRECTLY AND THE PIECES WOULD NOT STAY TOGETHER. IF YOU ASK ME IT WAS A LOT OF TROUBLE AND A BIG PIECE OF JUNK THAT COST BIG BUCKS!!!! I AM REALLY DISAPPOINTED IN K'NEX. WE HAVE THE FERRIS WHEEL AND IT WORK GREAT.
