This is my first review of a product, and I'm taking the time to do this so that someone thinks twice about buying this product. I bought this for my 5 yo son who loves these type of toys. Package looked great, but it was SOOOOO aggravating putting it together. It started off ok, but as you put in one piece, some other pieces fell off... and as you're trying to fix that, some other piece(s) would disconnect! I wanted to throw it in the trash after 10 minutes. After we were done, it made it through 5 minutes of play before the pieces started to fall off again. I'm just going to stick with the Legos from now on.

I worked on this item with my 5 year old son. The instructions were marginally clear, but we worked through it and assembled the car. I was constantly re-tightening and re-assembling the car as we progressed through the instructions, as the pieces constantly separated.

I'd say that after the assembly was complete, the car lasted for all about 5 seconds as an assembled toy. Part of the problem is the motor - the thing is too heavy, and other pieces constantly separate when attached to it. The second problem is the actual connection pieces - the design of the interlocking pieces is poor. The pieces separate easily and don't hold up well to weight.

Stick with legos - these have a much better design. This toy will cause a lot of frustration.

My 9 year old son loves K'Nex and built this car by himself in a couple of hours. He loves taking it apart and modifying the body. It comes with a motor, but if the car hits a wall (not recommended) parts will come off.

This was a terrible purchase! My son who is 8 tried repeatedly to put this together and got extremely frustrated. My husband stepped in to see what he could do and was also frustrated beyond belief. The pieces don't FIT. Isn't that the whole point of legos/knex? Finally we were able to sorta get it to stay together as long as no one touched it. Ah yeah, that makes sense?!

There is a reason Lego is Lego. I bought this for my son and as we began putting it together pieces started to follow off. Finally we got it together and withing 2 minutes of playing with it, parts began falling off. Buy Lego.
