It was "hinted" that if I bought the Waste King Garbage Disposal that "people who bought the disposal also bought this item". It was not needed, as the garbage disposal came with everything it needed.

I purchase this to match a Kohler sink an the finish matches excactly. The quality of this product as compared to others I looked at in my local big box home stores is much better. Others were plastic or a much lighter metal. This is a heavy duty flange with a great finish and an excellent compliment to a kohler sink.

Sure, my new Insinkerator disposal came with a chrome flange, but it didn't say "Kohler" on it like the other side of my new double basin.. For the price, I think this flange enhances the overall appearance on my sink and I would purchase again. I did not install this myself, but the plumber had no problem integrating this with my new disposal.

I needed a flange for a garbage disposal during my kitchen remodel (disposal was from old kitchen, but couldn't use the old flange.) This flange looks great and seemed pretty easy to install based on my contractor's comments. I'd get one again.

I like the rubber surround stopper as its sealed very tight

Replaced a sink with a Kohler sink , why not get the matching Kohler stamped flange and Sink Strainer? Made my project look even more designer all kohler branded. Great overall purchase.

I purchased this part, as I was erroneously led to believe that it was needed / could be used with the King 1hp Garbage Disposal. However, when my plumber installed both my new Kohler Kitchen sink today (05 Aug 2011) and my King 1hp Garbage Disposal, he couldn't use this Kohler part, as to do so, would have required an extended sink flange, that is not provided with the King Disposal. Thus, those purchasing a King Garbage Disposal, should be aware of this, and also that the King 1hp disposal already comes with everything that is needed for it's installation with a Kohler Kitchen Sink. I did try to keep the top cover of this Kohler part as I would like using it to cover the entrance into the King Disposal, instead of the plastic cover supplied with the King Disposal, but after checking, even this does not properly fit, so I am returning this entire purchase of the Kohler Disposal K-11352-CP back to Amazon for a refund; and, overall, my purchase of this Kohler K-11352-CP Disposal Flange, has been a complete waste of time and money.

You don't need this item at all for your waste king 1hp, they said is better but you don't need it, besides you will need an extended sink flange . That is not included in your waste king disposer. So in my case I only threw my good dllrs. away.
