I never thought shopping for a new kitchen faucet could be so challenging. I shopped at both Lowe's and Home Depot before finding this faucet on Amazon. It is a perfect balance of form and function. Most of the other faucets I saw at the big box stores looked like they were more focused on being art pieces or were cheap junk. This faucet looks good and is very sturdy. A good balance of what I wanted. Installation was easy too. I just wish the extensions they provided were 12 inches longer so they would have reached valves without me having to purchase extensions.

I've had 3 other Kohler kitchen faucets that served us well. Not this one. It isn't a problem just with this faucet, but with the whole package.
Problem 1: Installation. The cold and hot water lines are SHORT. Seriously - they wouldn't reach the cold and hot water valves that were directly under the sink in an 8 year old home - standard setup, nothing odd with our configuration.
Problem 2: Salt in the wound from #1, the installation showed extension tubing to go to the cold and hot water lines, but no extension lines were in the kit. First, if they knew an extension was necessary why didn't they just simply make the flex tubing 10" longer! Second, why would you show that in the picture but not reference it in the instructions or include it in the kit. Terrible. I had to make 2 trips to the hardware store to get parts that fit our connections and the faucet connector.
Problem 3: The sprayer is terrible. The hose is shorter than our other Kohlers and the spray is weak.
Problem 4: Milling debris IN the faucet. Within an hour of turning the faucet on it started spraying from the aerator. When I removed it I found metal and plastic debris clogging the aerator. After removing that and reinstalling, it was better, but still not good. There are 4 different components to this aerator. I had to separate them all and use a toothpick to dig through them and then reassemble.
Problem 5: After installation we noticed that the metal around the lever is all pitted. I didn't examine the finish that closely before installing -- thought it was a given with Kohler that they wouldn't turn something like that out.
I seriously can't believe Kohler puts this on the market. I could pay $20 at Lowes and get a better faucet. If this is where their quality is going, unfortunately, count me out on future purchases from this company.

Looks good. No problem installing. Some people complained the connecting hoses aren't long enough. Don't really understand that - - they are as long as any other faucet's. Some faucet locations, compared to where the pipes come out of the wall, do indeed require short extensions (regardless of the brand of faucet being installed). Mine did too. Wasn't any problem - just went to Lowes with the faucet in one hand and a picture of the pipe fitting (the turn-off valves) in the other hand (on my cell phone), and browsed through all the fittings until I got the needed short connecting length hoses. All went together at the house with no problem. No leaks, and like the look. And like that it is all metal painted white, not plastic.

It looks great, but the performance of the sprayer is insufficient. I might as well not have it, as it doesn't have the power to wash away anything. Very disappointed.

Kohler Not a bad facucet. A litttle over priced though.
This faucet works well and looks fine, but is not worth over 2 hundred bucks. The finish has no coating on it to make it smooth but is a little rough. Read more
