Very easy to install. Inexpensive update to freshen a bathroom. I especially like the chrome hinges. I did think that it should be cheaper though, but maybe I'm just cheap.

This is a beautiful toilet seat...it's got a really great finish on it - I can't imagine that it would ever get those little chips in the finish. For years, I thought there couldn't be that much difference between a $20 seat and a $35 seat. Then I also got tired of the "easy to clean" (not easy) hinges on the cheaper seats. Got this one with the chrome hinges (with no hidden crevices) and it's much easier to clean. Also, got tired of replacing toilet seats every 5 or 10 years. Really recommend this seat.

Here's what you need to know. Received seat with lid mounted off center to seat. One edge of lid is flush with seat, opposite edge is 1/2" inside of seat edge.
Color of this particular item is sunlight. For 48.69 (tax included) they can put this seat where the sun don't shine. The carelessness in assembly of this item makes it worth $5 not $48.
