KONG Puppy Teething Stick Dog Toy, Small, Blue

I two Scottish Terrier puppies who chewed their respective Kong teething sticks apart within a week. They were able to break off chunks of rubber which I had to pry out of their mouths.

I loved the old Kong balls -- they had 4 holes to insert treats. The one I had lasted 9 years -- My beloved Scottie, Miss Vivian chewed on it at least twice each day for all that time. I still have it in her memory box. The new Kongs are junk at best.

I love all Kong products! Along with this teething stick, I also purchased the Puppy treat mix that comes in the tube, and the treats you can stick in the ridges of the toy. In the mornings when I'm getting ready for work, I get the Teething Stick out and my puppy instantly knows he's about to get a treat! I put a pea size amount of the treat mix in each end of the stick, and then 3-4 of the hard treats in the outside ridges, put it on the ground, grab my stuff, and quietly leave for work. :) The thing keeps him entertained for several hours. I can tell it works because when I come home, my house isn't ripped to shreds!

These have a great concept...but my little dogs were able to chew chunks off of this way too easily. It's also hard to clean the inside and it got moldy...so I'll be buying the other kong products.

but my dog wouldn't touch it. I like the Kong products but this one wasn't a hit as I don't think my dog likes rubber toys.

The product per se is great, my dog loves it and can be entertained for a while with it, however, it has a strong rubber smell, even with a few washes can't take it off, but what the heck.

My 4 month old yorkiepoo Liked this okay, but it's a little messy. I prefer the kong that you fill INSIDE.

This product is excellent. My dog likes it very much. Very durable and easy to get creative with these treat-toys.

Don't get fooled by the good reviews, this toy is completely useless and uninteresting for any dog...several toys with same concept... ONE BIG SCAM!!

My puppy loves this teething stick! I put pieces of Zuke's Mini Naturals dog treats (cut in half) in the crevices or her dog food (Castor & Pollux Organix Puppy Formula) and it keeps her entertained for a while. There's a tunnel in the center of the stick so that you can stick more treats in there but I prefer not to since it's probably more difficult to clean.

She enjoys her regular Kong but she absolutely loves this one more (probably because it's easier to get her treat!).

My dog loves this when I slide kibble bits into the slots of it. Without the food, she doens't really play with it that much.

But, it serves it's purpose and keeps her occupied for a little while when mommy needs a break.
